I know a blog 2 days running but decided that if I attempt to upload 2 photos a day, I may get them finished by the time I move. That's provided I don't take any more.
If I don't expect too much then I may be pleasantly surprised if I over achieve.
Have been trying to exchange my travellers cheques for dollars today but apparently the bank doesn't have any dollars. Yesterday they didn't have any kwachas (zambian currency) but hey - no one seems bothered - lets try again tomorrow!!
Back working on the projects - taking holiday club in the mornings and helping on family support yesterday and adult literacy this afternoon. 2 of the ladies today were just 19 and 24 both with babies and only just know their alphabet. They are so keen to learn hear and I know that children in the UK should appreciate what they have. Here they only get free education from Grades 1 - 7 which is between the ages of say 5 and 14.
Anyway I've managed to upload another 4 photos today so I'd better quit while I'm ahead.
It I don't update the blog tomorrow then I won't get round to it until next Tuesday as I'm off on a 5 day trip (providing I can cash my travellers cheques. Speak to you soon

Still trying to upload photos
Just a quick not to say I've managed to upload one photo to the msn skydrive, which you should be able to view but it took 10 minutes for one, so I will keep trying - just keep watching.
And if anyone has any comments to add to my blog, please do so - it's good to get some feedback
Thanks
Sue

End of week 2 in Zambia
Sorry folks tried to upload some photos today but it took ages and then the battery died on the camera. WIll try again tomorrow
Have had a good week and even better weekend end. My IT workshop went well even though there was only one computer to share betwee 5 students.
Trying to change money is a bit of a pain in the next as I have US dollar TQs so if I want US dollars - I have to change the TQs into kwachas and then the kwachas into dollars - very bizarre.
I've seen a man cutting the grass this week with a golf club though he could have been practising his swing!!
I'm hoping to go on a 5 day trip next week to walk with lions and swim with elephants
Went to the Victoria Falls yesterday which were awesome. I had my shorts and T shirt on and declined the offer of a waterproof. Boy was I wet - soaked through to my underwear, but it just had to be done.
After the Falls I went on a booze cruise with most of the young volunteers. Free bar and food so I was on the rum and coke and gin and tonics. The youngsters saw a side to me that they hadn't expected and wanted me to go clubbing with them afterwards but I gracefully declined. I did my Titanic impression on the front of the boat but was disappointed there was no Jack to back me up. The sunset was amazing - you had the sun going down on the one side of the boat and the moon coming out on the other
Sam, Salome and Imi were absolutely wrecked after the trip. We took them all back to Airport house (just opposite where I'm staying) When it came to going home 2 of the lads asked if I needed a strapping young man to walk me home - again the temptation was there but I declined. We had such a laugh.
Have been to church this morning which was longer than usual - 2 half hours - I feel suitably spiritually cleansed!!
Hope everything is well with everyone at home. More news soon
